Keira Knightley is Karl Lagerfeld's biggest fan, after he lost quite a few firstly when he was mean about Adele saying she was "too fat", and secondly when he said that Pippa Middleton should hide her face, but the actress has claimed that the Chanel boss is "amazing".
The British actress, is currently filming 'Can A Song Save Your Life?' in New York, and has also given an interview to Harper's Bazaar where she sang the designer's praises.
"Karl's amazing. He's an avid reader. And he speaks about five different languages, so he'll be rattling English to you and French to somebody else, and German to somebody else, and then the phone rings and he's speaking in Italian," she said.
Keira was discussing her role in period drama 'Anna Karenina' in which she stars opposite Jude Law and Aaron Johnson. She says while she would look like "s***" after taking off the hair and make-up, Jude would look "brilliant".
"No wonder he kept that hat on. Poor f***er. I'd get to the end of the day, take my make-up and wig off, and I'd look s***," she said.
"He'd take the make-up and wig off and look f***ing brilliant. And everyone would say, 'Oh yeah! Good-looking man underneath!"
