Nicki Minaj is becoming one unpopular lady at the moment. After her diva behaviour at last month's T in The Park, the rapper has been accused of failing to show up for a paid appearance.
A Texas nightclub owner has claimed that the 'Beez In The Trap' singer failed to show up to an after-party that she was paid $30,000 (£18,700) to do.
Prior to the party Minaj took to Twitter to say she would not be attending the party at the Verizon Theatre in Dallas "No after party tonite barbz. S/O [shout out] to the promoters who sold tkts under false pretenses tho (sic),'' Minaj said.
However The33tv quotes the club's spokesperson Matt Cislo as saying: "From my understanding, she was outside, she had shown up, her security had done a walkthrough and she just decided not to come in.
"We looked at their contracts, the wire transfer, we had seen everything; that's why we went through with the show."
He added: "As soon as everyone found out she wasn't showing up on Twitter they were messaging us, text message, emails, you know why are you putting on a fake show? Just gives us a bad rep."
Fans didn't seem at all bothered, as they praised the rapper for her decision. One tweeted:
''@NICKIMINAJ [JUST MADE MY NIGHT SHOWING THAT SHE CARES FOR HER FANS BAD PROMO ISNT GOOD PUBLICITY IM STILL #TEAMMINAJ CANT WAIT TO SEE U''
