Calling all 'Harry Potter' fans. JK Rowling has launched a special online book club for young readers today and has promised to speak with her fans in a live web-chat later this year...
JK Rowling has always been great to the 'Harry Potter' fans and, despite the book series being officially over, she is always happy to speak about the supernatural world of the boy wizard with wannabe Hogwarts students.
US publishers Scholastic have announced that the 'Harry Potter Reading Club' website will serve as a tool for teachers and parents, as well as children, in a bid to reintroduce youngsters to the magic of books and literature.
And, on top of this, the site is also set to serve as the number one online destination for fans of the boy wizard himself.
The Harry Potter stories have, of course, been some of the most famous across the globe, especially thanks to the movie starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint. It will be nice to see the books given a little bit more of the spotlight for the first time in a long while.
On top of this, JK Rowling has also announced her intention to conduct a live web chat with her fans on October 11th, giving her the first opportunity to talk with fans face-to-face since way back in 2007.
We realise the site is aimed at young children but we can't help feeling like we might tune in for THAT little chat with the world famous children's novelist!
