TOWIE star Lauren Goodger has apparently let her strict Cambridge diet slip and regained 8lbs during her quest to drop to a size 8.
The Only Way Is Essex star has been spotted out and about in maxi dresses in a bid to hide the weight gain, but friends have come clean to Closer magazine, admitting that the reality star has been busy trying to ignore her sudden weight gain.
"She's a size 12 now and says she's gained 8lbs, taking her to around 10st 10lbs - away from her target of a size 8."
"She said she's been trying to ignore it because she hates dieting, but she can now feel it going back on to her thighs and tummy."
However friends have also suggested that Lauren's recent fling with Tom Pearce has given Goodger the motivation she needs to help her whip herself back into shape:
"She hopes this latest flirtation will give her the motivation to get back on the Cambridge diet."
Then again, will she even need the meal replacement shakes? Lauren has already admitted to friends she's looking forward to "burning off calories in the bedroom", the cheeky minx!
We actually think Lauren looks quite nice as a size 12; after all, with Marilyn Monroe's anniversary coming up, surely curves should be back in fashion?
