Courtney Love is no stranger to slanging matches, causing a scene or scandals in general, and this weekend it was Lana Del Rey’s turn for a verbal bashing.
The ‘Born To Die’ singer performed a moving rendition of the Nirvana classic ‘Heart Shaped Box’ at the weekend in Australia, and video footage was soon up on Youtube and picked up by the likes of NME.
The Hole singer who was married to the Nirvana frontman, Kurt Cobain, appeared to be not very impressed at all with Lana’s cover as she took to Twitter and vented.
Love tweeted Lana with the following bizarre message: ‘You do know the song is about my Vagina right? Throw down your umbilical noose so I can climb right back umm’
The tweet was posted about 7 hours ago, but was then swiftly deleted a short while later.

Courtney has a history of bizarre behaviour and has had spats with various celebrities who’ve 'crossed' her.
The list even extends to her daughter, Francis Bean Cobain. Courtney blasted Foo Fighters frontman and Kurt’s close friend, Dave Grohl, for trying to seduce her daughter, but then later grovelled to her Francis via Twitter saying she was sorry, and that ‘Mommy loves you’.
Maybe Courtney just shouldn’t be allowed near twitter, although we're sure her 70,000 plus followers wouldn’t agree with us.
