Despite rumours of romance Katy Perry has reportedly told Robert Pattinson that she will be there for him during his troubles with Kristen Stewart.
The 'Wide Awake' singer wants to return the support the Twilight star gave her through her divorce from Russell Brand.
The Daily Star reports that Perry sent 26-year old R-Patz comforting messages last night after he had been rocked by the revelation that K-Stew, 22, cheated on him with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, 41.
A source close to him said: “Katy has been a rock for Rob.” “She has reassured him she is very much there for him just as he was for her when she split from Russell. She has urged him to take a break with her.”
The singer, 27, is returning the favour after the vampire hunk helped her through her break-up from comedian Russell Brand, 37. It has been reported that Rob has moved out of his LA mansion he shared with the actress but is yet to publicly comment on the affair.
The source added: “He’s angry, hurt and upset and is sick of people taking sides already.” “He’s hoping to get two months to himself without Kristen around just to think things through."
"She has sent him messages asking him to hook up in New York for crisis talks next week but he wants to be alone.”
