You'd think Christina Aguilera would want all eyes on her while she acts as a panelist for The Voice USA, but she's revealed she loves seeing peers Britney Spears and Mariah Carey in similar roles on The X Factor and American Idol.
According to The Belfast Telegraph, Christina is delighted to see "strong women" Mariah Carey and Britney Spears judging talent shows too.
The songstress is currently a panelist on US TV singing competition The Voice, while Mariah has just been confirmed to judge the next season of American Idol and Britney has been traveling across the country scoping out talent for The X Factor.
Christina, who performed alongside Britney as a child in television series The Mickey Mouse Club, is proud to see her peers doing well in their careers. She told Extra:
"You know I love that. All these artists are coming together from all the experience that we've had and we're being able to take that and feed this new wave of talent coming up.
"Britney's so talented. I mean she's a pro. She's been at it for a number of years now. We did grow up together. It's actually cool that these strong women are joining the club and they're gonna have fun. I just found out about [Mariah joining American Idol] last night, the news is fresh."
Christina will judge along with Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green on the upcoming third season of The Voice.
We're not entirely convinced she's happy to share the spotlight, but good on her for trying! Girl power and all that...
