Soul Singer Darlene Love Recovering From Minor Heart Attack

Soul singer Darlene Love is recovering from a minor heart attack, she has revealed.

The legend was speaking to WCBS-FM when she revealed that she suffered the health scare last weekend.

She explained that she felt ill before a concert in Asbury, New Jersey last weekend, but took an aspirin and performed regardless.

She was then hospitalised the following morning when her husband insisted that she seek medical attention.

"We caught it before it got bad and I went in and had the procedure done," she said.

She was hospitalised for two days and is now recuperating at home.

"I'm home… and doing fine," she insisted.
