People having been going crazy for them for the last year over One Direction so we bet it's a nice change for the boys to get that excited about something themselves and one thing that is bigger than One Direction (for this week at least) are the London Olympic Games with Niall Horan getting the Olympic buzz as London gears up for the sporting extravaganza billed as the 'Greatest Show On Earth'.
The Irish cutie has been tweeting about his excitement for the Games, which are officially get going tonight with the star-studded Opening Ceremony in the Olympic stadium and even suggested a new sport that could be included.
He wrote: “Dont know if its just me, but the excitement in london is unbelievable! Its gona be a great games (sic).”
Niall added: “Do they have an egg and spoon race in the olympics! I wana try! Always did well at sports day! (sic)”
Awh, what a sweetie!
We would love to see One Direction in the Olympics and after Harry won a celebrity golf tournament earlier this week we reckon they could do pretty well – they'd definitely have the most fans!
Their might be another reason for Niall's excitement as they boys are set to help close the show in the closing ceremony (Aug 12) alongside other rumoured acts Take That, Ed Sheeran and the Spice Girls.
We can't wait!
