Charlize Theron, who starred alongside Kristen Stewart in 'Snow White and The Huntsman' reportedly feels betrayed by the actress who embarked on an affair with their director Rupert Sanders behind the back of her long-term boyfriend Robert Pattinson.
The blonde played the evil queen in the re-vamp of the fairytale with Kristen taking on the role of pure Snow White. But it was revealed this week that the 22 year-old isn't anything as pure as her character after she was photographed locked in a “frenzied makeout session” with the married 41 year-old in the back of her car in an abandoned carpark in Los Angeles last week (July 17).
“Charlize had no idea what was going on between Rupert and Kristen and now feels completely betrayed by the whole incident,” a source told RadarOnline.
“[She] is absolutely fuming with Kristen for having an affair with Rupert.” The actress, who reportedly confided in Kristen about her plans to adopt baby Jackson while they were filming last summer is also close to Rupert's wife and father of his two children Liberty Ross.
“She is very tight with Liberty, has often socialized with the family over dinner and cannot believe Kristen has done this,” the source explained.
“When they were filming 'Snow White and the Huntsman', Charlize felt like an older sister to Kristen, and they were always sharing advice.”
Both Kristen and Rupert have released statements apologising for the fling with the 'Twilight' star referring to it as a “momentary indiscretion”.
Charlize reportedly feels awkward about the whole affair as she is close to both parties.
The source added: “It’s certainly left Charlize between a rock and a hard place, because she feels great sympathy for Liberty and the kids and yet, she has a sisterly love for Kristen.”
It is thought the affair could also impact on their careers as there was speculation that a 'SWATH' sequel could be made though after the revelations it is in doubt.
At the UK première of the movie in May, Charlize admitted that she instantly “fell in love” with the actress when she first met her.
“It happened within the first five minutes of meeting her,” she told Celebuzz.
“We were on a plane going to San Diego, for ComicCon, and I just fell in love with her.” We wonder if she still loves her?
