The parents of a stuntman killed during filming of 'The Expendables 2' are seeking damages from the film-makers due to their son's death during the making of the film. Stuntman Kun Liu, 26, was killed while on an inflatable boat on the Ognyanovo dam in Bulgaria.
After an on-set explosion nearby, the performer died of wounds suffered. According to the BBC, his parents have filed a wrongful death suit against the stunt co-ordinator Chad Stahnelski and Millenium Films.
'The Expendables 2' is expected to be one of the autumn's biggest action movies, and features an all-star cast, including Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis. Also appearing are Liam Hemsworth and Jason Statham.
Kun Liu's parents, Zong Yu Liu and Yan Mei Bai, are reported as claim the filmmakers and Stahelski "negligently and carelessly failed to provide adequate protection from hard to the participants of the stunts".
