Jennifer Lopez has admitted that her children are the most “precious” thing in her life and that she is desperate to not “mess up” being a “mommy” to four year-old twins Mmax and Emme.
The singer, who separated from the twins father in July last year was speaking about the pressures of being a mother as she premiered her new music video for 'Goin' on' on MTV First last night in the US.
Speaking of her children she said: "Mommy. It's just the one thing you don't want to mess up."
“You can mess up in all other areas and get back up, but you don't want to mess up there.
"They're so precious to you and they make everything better in my life. They make me feel better every single day. Definitely, it's the most important thing."
Other areas? Could she be talking about the three marriages she already has under her belt?
The star tends to get pretty serious when falling in love and was also engaged to P Diddy and Ben Affleck though they failed to get down the aisle.
The star also revealed that her break-up with Marc Anthony after seven years of marriage influenced her latest album Dance Again...the Hits.
She said: "Where you are in your life and what is going on is what you tend to sing about,"
"I only go by what I feel and what moves me."
Jen explained: "Even in this Dance Again...the Hits and the single 'Dance Again' was very much how I was feeling at that moment. It was a song that Enrique [Iglesias] wrote for himself and the chorus to me, 'I want to dance and love and dance again,' at that time in my life when I had just gone through a breakup of a family, not just a relationship, it was [me asking]: To dance again? Or to love again? Or to do anything again felt like 'wow.'”
The star definitely did 'love again' as she is currently seeing dancer Casper Smart, who although is quite a bit younger at 25 has got stuck in with helping raise Jen's kids.
