Blink-182 fans have been left disappointed after the band announced that they have cancelled their planned London show tonight (July 26) due to illness.

The band have been forced to cancel their sold-out Brixton Academy show after Mark Hoppus was taken ill.

The singer fell ill after last night's performance and has since been diagnosed with bronchitis, laryngitis and sinusitis.

A statement said: "This is the last thing the band want to do but on doctors advice today it has been highly advised that Mark cannot perform and the show can't go ahead.

"Regrettably a rescheduled date cannot not be arranged and customers are advised to contact their point of purchase for a refund."

Their US tour earlier this year were cancelled after drummer Travis Barker needing an emergency operation.

Entertainmentwise went down to review Blink 182's London show last night (July 25) - you can read the review here.
