Following reports that Kristen Stewart and director Rupert Sanders were caught cheating, an interview has emerged where his wife Liberty Ross reveals that the 'Twilight' star had been her first choice for the role of Snow White.
The model, who has two children with the 'Snow White And The Huntsman' director, also starred in the movie as Snow White's mother.
In a chat with Celebuzz at the world premiere of the movie, she said: "[Kristen] was my number one choice. I think there is no better Snow White in my opinion. She is great."
She continued: "I mean, I've never watched a Twilight movie, so I don't really know, but I loved her in Sean Penn's film [Into the Wild] just for that moment that she's in it. Ever since then - she's got something very transfixing about her. We needed a modern, edgy, cool girl."
We've reached out to Liberty's reps for a comment, but since the pictures emerged in the US of Kristen and Rupert both parties have issued statements.
Kristen said that she was "sorry" for cheating and that she loves her boyfriend Robert Pattinson. Meanwhile, Rupert claims to be "utterly distraught" over his behaviour.
