Although Carly Rae Jepsen has taken to Twitter to deny the 'sex tape' rumours, there are now further reports that the Canadian singer was in fact hacked and the computer nerd had stolen the genuine product from her, which she's now trying her hardest to hide.
Despite falling victim to the fake nude photos that have been circling online for the past couple of days, it seems that Carly may have been hacked by a technology whizkid and is just trying to hide the fact that the girl in the sex tape was actually her, which the hacker stole. Ooooo! But what have the singer's fans been saying on Twitter? We were expecting at least some condolences for the pretty brunette, however it seems that condolences were few and far between, the majority of the messages that resulted in the trending topic were related to 'Call Me Maybe' jokes. Of course...
One fan wrote: "All this criticism of Carly Rae Jepsen for the sextape stuff is a bit much, I mean she'd just met him, and it was crazy.."
Whilst another fan wrote: "so sext me maybe?"
Can anyone come up with a better joke than the efforts above? Anyone?
The Vancouver Police Department are now dealing with the suspect and currently dealing with an investigation 'in regards to a theft of electronic property belonging to Jepsen.' The mastermind behind the Jepsen naked photo scandal could face some serious charges, including criminal harassment, unauthorised access of a computer, leading to possible imprisonment. Oh dear!
So, you better think twice before hacking a celeb's (especially those associated with Bieber!) Twitter in the future...
