Tom Cruise, despite his ugly divorce from Katie Holmes, is operating under the motto "the show must go on"...
Tom Cruise isn't having the best time of it lately; after his ugly divorce from wife of almost six years Katie Holmes, he has seen vicious rumours about his Scientology beliefs, his attitude towards his daughter and his controlling behaviour towards Holmes make their way into the tabloids.
And, despite all of this, the fifty year old star is keeping a positive and gracious attitude.
Sources have come forward to Fox411, explaining that the 'Rock of Ages' star is maintaining the illusion that nothing is wrong:
"He is incredibly gracious and upbeat... You wouldn't even know anything was wrong."
The star has also been spotted out and about in London as he continues pre-production of his next film. And, despite the heavy toll the last few weeks have undoubtedly had on him, the Hollywood actor was polite and courteous to all who he crossed paths with:
"He was greeting hotel staff... he looked a little tired [but] he was nothing but smiles."
Wow!
We guess that, for Tom Cruise at least, when your heart is breaking and your makeup is flaking, the show really must go on...
