PHOTO: Mutya Keisha Siobhan Head To Studio To Finish Recording New Album

Band have been keeping fans updated over Twitter

Mutya Keisha Siobhan have been keeping fans updated on their comeback and anticipated new material.

The original Sugababes posted a picture of three of them in the studio. ''Just in the studio finishing up one of our tracks :-) Sending you a Big Hello from us!!! XxX," the band said on Twitter.

Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy officially announced their reunion last week.

The three singers have confirmed plans to release a new album later this year and have posted the first picture of their reunion to fans.

''Dear tweeters ive been trying my best to keep this one on the DL haha @mutyabuena @siobhandonaghy @mksofficial," Buchanan told fans.

"It's been killing us to keep it secret any longer! @keisha_buchanan @MutyaBuena," Donaghy added. "@siobhandonaghy @keisha_buchanan I think we should tell the world. WE'RE BACK!!! @MKSofficial,"

The trio, who have not recorded together since their 2000 debut 'One Touch', reunited at the end of 2011 but the band's founding name is currently the property of their former record label, and still used by Amelle Berrebah, Heidi Range and Jade Ewen.

Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanon and Siobhan Donaghy signed a £1million deal with Polydor Records in April 2012 and have been busy in the studio working on new material.

In an interview with Popjustice, the band described the band's first meeting following their split.

"The first time we sang in a room together and worked out our harmonies and sang them together was recording a song called 'Too In Love'," Siobhan said.

Buchanan added: "It was the first time we'd sang together since we were 16 years old. To be honest with you it wasn't an instant thing. When we were younger we gelled straight away, but we had to learn to blend with each other again.

"It was so special to be excited about hearing our voices together, and being excited about our music. On my days off I'd go home and I'd listen to the tracks. I'd be like, 'I'm really enjoying this'. I just enjoyed our music."

We can't wait to hear their new material!!!
