Alex Reid has been accused by his former business partner Richard Curson of making advances towards him that included suggestive messages and even incidents when he tried to kiss him.
Reid, who announced the name of his daughter with fiancé Chantelle Hougton today reportedly made Curson feel “uncomfortable” and “violated” by the way he acted around him.
“I really liked Alex and saw him as a good friend” he told Now magazine. “But there were many times when he would make me very uncomfortable. On several occasions he tried to kiss me on the lips. He’d make out he was joking, but it made me feel violated.”
Curson claimed that in the last few months, while his fiance was pregnant with his baby, Reid sent him a string of lewd text messages including: “I’m going to whip u.”
Also asking if a meeting with a business associate had been: “the seedy Reidy kind?”
It will come as a further blow to Alex and Chantelle who have been experiencing difficulties in their romance. The couple have been going through a rough patch recently, with Chantelle moving back to her own flat in the last few months of her pregnancy and reportedly breaking up on several occasions.
While Curson doesn't accuse Alex of being homosexual he does claim to “feel sorry” for the mother of his daughter Dolly, Chantelle, claiming that he was getting ready to sue her after she took nearly a month to decide on a baby name for their daughter.
He claimed: “Alex asked me if he could sue her so he could do his own deal. That’s his fiancé he was talking about."
“I feel really sorry for Chantelle,” he added, insisting that had been his motivation for speaking out. “I have a fiancé and I’d be devastated if he acted like Alex.”
A rep for Alex completely denied the claims made by Curson telling The Mirror: “This is a bitter and twisted view of someone who was sacked as a media representative.”
