Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis may have called time on their relationship, but that doesn't mean that the Hollywood star has given up on reconciling with the mother of his children.
In a bid to win back Paradis (following his rumoured affair with Amber Heard), Depp has flown to the South of France to see the woman he was in love with for 14 years.
And, in a touching gesture, he has presented Paradis with an antique gold pendant, bearing the message: "my heart is always with you."
Oh yes, our hearts melted - but will Vanessa ever be able to forgive the 'Pirates Of The Caribbean' star? After all, he did buy Amber Heard a HORSE - can a necklace ever compete with a live filly?
A source explained to The Sun that the pair, along with their children, are spending time away from prying eyes in the actor's Plan de la Tour home:
“They are having a family holiday to show the kids they are still a strong family even if those two are split or not... But the fact he presented her with such a touching gift, it’s almost as if they could make another go of things."
"Johnny wants to be with his family, he’s a very family orientated man. His kids mean everything to him... What they need more than anything is to get together far away from Hollywood and that is what they are doing.”
We really hope these two can fight the curse of 2012 and get their relationship back on track - we don't want to see Hollywood's golden couple join all the other celebs in splitsville.
