Cheeky Girls and X Factor's Diva Fever are among the special guests at Northern Pride in Newcastle today, reportedly the "largest gathering of its kind".

The LGBT event, in Geordieland's Exhibition Park, is playing host to more than 20,000 people, according to ITV News.

The twins, from Cluj-Napoca in Romania, are also joined by former Eurovision hopefuls Scooch.

Fair play to them - it's now been an astonishing TEN YEARS since they first rose to fame alongside Cheryl Cole on Popstars: The Rivals.

The TV show was responsible for the entire Top 3 in the 2002 Christmas charts, with Girls Aloud's 'Sound Of The Underground' at No1, One True Voice's 'Sacred Trust' at No2, and the notorious 'Cheeky Song' right behind at No3.

Not looking they've aged a day in the last decade, they told Sky News that they have managed to stay in shape with "lots of wine and lots of running".

We like the sound of about 50% of that regime, girls.
