It's not like Andrew Lloyd Webber has enough to worry about with his new stage version of 'Jesus Christ Superstar'. He's got just a few weeks until the show takes off for a nationwide arena tour, he's yet to sign up his leading man and now the theatre legend has revealed he might have to get star Chris Moyles a fat suit!
Sir Andrew has been chatting about Chris and his part of Herod in the musical, saying he thinks the Radio 1 DJ has taken his new healthy diet too far and it could impact on his role. According to Now, Lloyd Webber has said:
"We signed Chris and now he's gone and lost all that weight,"
"Herod was a big man, so it looks like it will be a fat suit."
Chris recently revealed he's quitting his Radio 1 Breakfast Show after eight years, but he's onto pastures new with his first theatre role. Apparently the unusual casting was all Andrew's idea, he's told the Daily Star:
"I knew he could sing because I'd seen him on The X Factor: Battle Of The Stars back in 2006 and we did the usual sing-song around the piano before I hired him."
Chris will star alongside Mel C, Tim Minchin and the winner of current ITV show 'Superstar'.
