It's official Michelle Keegan has dumped The Wanted's Max George, just days after he was caught kissing another girl.
The rumours have been around for weeks now but last night Michelles spokesman made it official, telling the MailOnline: "They are no longer together." The 'Corrie' star is said to have called time on the two year relationship after pictures emerged of Max kissing a mystery blonde earlier this week.
The couple began dating in late 2010 before Max popped the question on Michelle's birthday in June 2011. Lately though the relationship appears to have come to a grinding halt. Max has spent the first half of this year in the States performing and promoting with The Wanted. Meanwhile Michelle has been back home in Manchester filming for 'Coronation Street'.
Then in April 2011 Max let slip in a radio interview that they had called their engagement off. The news was later confirmed but the couple insisted they were still together.
That same line was used earlier this week after Max was caught snogging another girl whilst out partying. The boybander's spokesperson claimed he was simply caught in a clinch with an overenthusiastic fan whilst Michelle was also quick to laugh off the pictures, telling The Sun on Wednesday July 18:
"I don’t mind. When you go out with someone in one of the biggest boybands in Britain you have to expect this sort of thing. It happens all the time, even when I’m with him. Women just rush up and kiss him. I’m relaxed about it. Blokes do it to me too. It comes with the job"
It sounds like Michelle has had a change of heart though. We're genuinely sad about this latest celeb split, what do you think? Could they still get back together or does Max now have a permanent heart vacancy?!
