Little Mix have insisted that they didn't want their debut single 'Wings' to be "cheesey".
The group rocketed to No1 with a cover of Damien Rice's 'Cannonball' after winning The X Factor last year, but will bring out their first 'proper' tune on August 19.
Speaking to Attitude about the track, Jesy Nelson said: "It's a feel-good song. We want people to feel something when they listen to it. But we didn't want to be too cheesy with the 'Believe in yourself' thing.
"There's nothing wrong with writing songs about clubs and parties but I think it's cool to do a song that means something."
They also denied claims that Tulisa and Jessie J would appear on the album, saying there is "nothing definite" about the rumours.
"We just wanted to focus on our own sound and hopefully after that... We'd love to do a collaboration," they explained.
The music video for 'Wings' is expected to drop soon.
