Despite appearing to be one of the most hated singles of the year, Cher Lloyd's 'Swagger Jagger' was still an instant No1 smash when it was released twelve months ago.

But Misha B, who followed in Cher's X Factor footsteps by coming fourth on the talent show, is having considerably less luck with her debut single 'Home Run'.

The track, which was released digitally on Sunday (July 15), is fighting for a Top 10 placement in today's midweek figures despite overwhelmingly positive critical feedback.

It was No9 on Wednesday but has since slipped to No11 - and has 48 hours to fight back before the official rundown is confirmed on Sunday.

Misha's been hard at work promoting the song, participating in countless radio and TV appearances, as well as the occasional Twitter take-over.

She signed to Sony after being knocked out of The X Factor in the semi-finals in December.

Little Mix, Amelia Lily and Marcus Collins went on to compete in the Wembley finale, with the former emerging victorious.

Misha B recently won a poll of Entertainmentwise readers to determine the most popular new single by a 2011 contestant.

Why do you think 'Home Run' is struggling?
