One Direction star Liam Payne has slammed claims that he is set to ditch his fellow teen idols in an attempt to achieve solo success like Justin Bieber, insisting he would find it “massively boring” if he was a solo act.
Zayn, Louis, Harry, Liam and Niall appear to be having a ball as they continue their march to world domination and despite only releasing their first album in November last year speculation over when they will split has already begun.
Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton recently predicted that the boys would split, leading to a successful solo career for stud Liam Payne.
Perez told Sugarscape: “I would not be surprised if One Direction break up in the next couple of years.”
“I think ultimately one of them will quit or get fired, they’ll continue on as a foursome and then not too long after – maybe a year or two – they’ll break up.”
It seems this time though the Celeb expert has got it wrong as lovable Liam has hit back at his claims insisting he would never leave the boys!
When asked by Top of The Pops magazine if he ever wanted to go solo the star said: “Erm, not really.” The hunk confessed it wouldn't be fun without the other 1D boys around and didn't know how king of the teen idols Bieber managed it.
“I think it would be massively, massively boring! I don’t know how Justin Bieber does it, but full props to him,” he explained.
“I like being around the boys. I enjoy other people’s company and it’s a lot more fun being in a band on stage.”
Well Liam we are pretty pleased you said that! While we didn't believe the prediction anyway it's nice that you have put them straight!
