What are the chances of two blonde celebs turning up to the same movie premiere wearing aquamarine halterneck floor-length dresses? We thought almost impossible.
But last night Made In Chelsea’s rumoured axed star Kimberley Garner stepped onto the red carpet in a very similar frock to fellow blonde starlet Pixie Lott’s. Huh?
The two bombshells were lingering on a fashion faux pas when they both pitched up in the similar attire to attend the London premiere of 'The Dark Knight Rises', but despite their similar taste in dresses, managed to achieve very different looks.
Flirty Kimberley, who managed to go on a date with almost every cast member on the posh reality show, left little to the imagination in her plunging aquamarine gown that was slashed to the naval and featured a pretty big thigh-high split. Shudder.
The 22-year-old blonde, who recently parted from her MIC co-star and lover Richard Dinan after an ephemeral romance, showed off her cleavage and trim physique in the risque floor-length halterneck which she apparently designed herself, flashed even more flesh with an open back and cut outs on the side.
She teamed the look with a pair of nude open toe wedges to add to the summer feel and wisely kept her hair and make-up low key to avoid detracting from the statement dress, wearing her golden locks in a loose, textured style and sporting a natural make-up look complete with nude lips.
21-year-old chartopper Pixie, however, looked demure as she covered up in her aquamarine number, also a halterneck, but the heavy layering of the gown was slightly unflattering on the star’s slender frame and made her look bigger and older than her years.
The frock almost redeemed itself with a cinched in bow waistbelt, and Pixie’s hair and make-up looked lovely with her short blonde barnet styled in loose waves and her skin looking as sunkissed and healthy as ever.
