Hollywood actress Hilary Swank is set to make a move from the big screen to the small screen following the reports that she is set to star in Richard Curtis' new BBC TV movie, Mary And Martha.
It is thought that the Oscar-winning actress will share screen time with Brenda Blethyn when she and the actress take on the role of mums who lose their sons to malaria during a trip in Africa.
Speaking about the movie, The Sun reports Richard who wrote 'Two Weddings And A Funeral' as saying:
"I’ve always wanted to write a film about the fact that when you have children, there’s always the possibility of extreme joy and extreme sorrow.
“And over the years working with Comic Relief, I have come across the tragedy of the startling number of lives taken by malaria every year.”
The TV movie will be broadcast in the run up to Red Nose day next year.
