Tuesday night obviously brought around nominations but tonight’s Big Brother saw the housemates nominate…….Face to face!

In an awkward situation, set around a campfire, each housemate had to stand up and turn around a playing card with the face of their chosen housemate on. They then had to list the reasons why they were nominating that person. This was done for both of their nominations.

With Luke S, Scott and Sara immune from nominations, thanks to winning the Wild West task, the stakes were raised for the other 6 housemates.

Conor went first and obviously picked Deana, as they are always arguing, and Lauren, as she was annoying. Caroline followed also nominating Lauren, as she spoke too impulsively, and Luke A, for being irritating.

Lauren and Luke A became a theme for nominations as Luke S, Sara and Becky also nominated them both. Scott and Ashleigh also nominated Lauren. This left Lauren with 7 votes and Luke A with 4, meaning they will both face the public vote this Friday.

Lauren was nominated for being “sneaky” and going “behind people’s backs.” Ashleigh particularly cited the time Lauren went to tell on the Blue Team for discussing nominations, to Big Brother.

Luke A was nominated for being “annoying” and giving off the feeling he doesn’t like certain people. Becky also nominated him for not trying hard enough in the cowboy task, particularly in the spaghetti-eating game. Luke A tried to respond to this by saying he didn’t like spaghetti, but Becky ignored him.

After nominations were over, Luke A was feeling down and so went to talk to Big Brother. He said he was “devastated” and didn’t realize people hated him so much. He also said it was a “horrible feeling” knowing people were whispering about you, which is what he suspects some housemates are doing.

In a similar conversation with Big Brother, Lauren said she was “alright” with being nominated and actually expected it. She explained she had a theory that every time Caroline didn’t get on with someone, they would be up for nomination.

She also she said she was probably up for the best reasons – for having “integrity”, respecting the rules and not being afraid to speak out. She was happy to have been nominated for what she felt, were good traits, but at the same time didn’t feel they were valid reasons to be up for eviction.

Who do you think should leave the house this Friday?

Who is your favourite housemate this year?
