Infamous picketing collective the Westboro Baptist Church have their latest target in their sight – they plan to organise a demonstration at Sage Stallone’s funeral, which will be held this coming Saturday.
Margie Phelps, the daughter of Westboro preacher Fred Phelps, has been recruiting demonstrators via social networks, taking to Twitter to write “Thrice married rebel taught his son to mock god” and encouraging followers to picket the funeral.
She also claims “adulterous dad brought wrath of God on son…Tell @TheSlyStallone to mourn for his sins, not pimp out son’s dead body to more proud sin!”
Sage was the son of Stallone and his first wife Sasha Czack. Stallone was subsequently married to Brigitte Nielsen and Jennifer Flavin. The cause of Sage’s death is still unknown – and Stallone recently put out a plea to stop the speculation.
