Chantelle Houghton and Alex Reid still haven't chosen a name for their baby daughter - despite the fact that she was born THREE WEEKS ago!
Guys, seriously. You had nine whole months to think this through...
Chantelle Houghton may think that being a mum is "amazing" and that Alex Reid is a "good dad", but both new parents have failed to come up with the goods in the baby naming department.
At this point, we imagine Baby Reid will have to officially file for her own name when she reaches the tender age of 18.
Chantelle explained to New! Magazine that she and fiancé Alex have too many great names to choose from and that making a dfinal decision is harder than they thought:
“We have got a couple that we're still choosing from, but I'm so bad at making decisions and I know this is for life. I wanted a strong name but now I want a cute name."
Or, you know, any name. Any name at all.
“We loved the name Parker but it's a bit masculine. I thought it was a bit like Victoria Beckham's daughter's name Harper. I really liked Piper as well but I just don't think she looks like either of them so I've ruled them out."
We're getting the impression that Chantelle is leaning towards the letter 'P' in this all-important decision...
“A lot of people have asked if I'd name the baby after my mum or Alex's mum but I wouldn't do that. She's a new baby with a new life ahead and she deserves her own name.”
Maybe they should set up a Twitter poll or something? We wouldn't mind having a say in the naming of Alex Reid and Chantelle Houghton's daughter!
Either way, this indecisiveness is getting a little silly. The kid needs a name, and fast. What do YOU think the pair should call their little girl?
