Critics of Twitter say that when it’s at its worst, the social network encourages playground style bullying – and Kris Humphries was certainly using schoolyard tactics to take rapper Kanye West to task today.
Earlier in the year, Kanye suggested in lyrics for his tune 'Theraflu', that his BFF Jay Z could have Kris fired whenever he wanted. Basketball player Kris plays for the Brooklyn Nets, on a $24 million contract no less, a team part owned by Jay Z.
Kris recently tweeted “I’m up at Brooklyn. Lucky I didn’t have Jay drop me from the team lol,”, which was thought to be a deliberate dig at Kanye.
Meanwhile Nets manager Billy King explained (just in case Kris was worried!) that it was unlikely the former reality husband would be excluded from the squad.
“Kris has been a very consistent player for us over the past two years” he revealed. “He has developed into one of the top rebounding forwards in the league, and we are very pleased to welcome him back.”
