No one quite does movie ridiculousness like Quentin Tarantino, he's given us Brad Pitt as a crazed Nazi hunter, Lucy Liu getting the top of her head chopped off, and most ludicrously, the resurrection of John Travolta's career.

And it seems the director hasn't mellowed with age, and isn't planning on toning things down for his latest movie, the western 'Django Unchained', as he's decided to call his romantic lead 'Broomhilda von Shaft'. She'll be played by 'The Last King Of Scotland's' Kerry Washington.

According to the New York Times, the director envisions Django (Jamie Foxx) searching out Broomhilda and having a child together, with their descendant being John Shaft of Blaxploitation movie fame.

The movie will also star Leonardo DiCaprio as a cruel plantation owner called Calvin Candie.

Talking at Comic-Con, he reportedly said that the character's name was a reference to Richard Wagner's opera 'Siegfried'.

This leaves it upon us to develop a method for developing your own Django Unchained name; just choose a character from an opera, add a continental title and then add a surname that wouldn't sound out of place on a porn star.

Yours could be 'Brunnhilde van Dongson'.
