"The way my album has come together has been sort of a shock for me," she told MTV.

Speaking about her time with Fun star Jason, she added: "That was sort of a random collaboration of us both really digging what the other person did.

"And the last collaboration is a song with Justin Bieber. We're gonna do a little duet. And then the rest are sort of like, I think 'Call Me Maybe' is a pretty fair representation. It is pop, but there's also dance-pop and a little hint of folk-pop.''

"Just landed in NYC! Shooting the Good Time video with @owlcity TMR! Pray for sun! " Jepsen tweeted fans.

Young replied: "Likewise. I walked in and thought, 'she looks SUPER familiar.'. I can't wait for this shoot. See you soon!"

Owl City's frontman Adam Young recently admitted that the track was a 'dream come true'.
