It’s always exiting when you meet someone involved in a TV show or movie you love – and it’s the same for book fans too. Fifty Shades Of Grey Author E.L. James met some of her readers at Comic Con – and according to the Independent, the reaction was pretty emotional on both sides.
One fan, Lola de la Cruz, burst into tears when she met her idol. She told the Independent “The relationship that's in the book is something that I've always wanted and haven't gotten in previous relationships, so it kind of gave me that hope that there's something still out there,"
Reading Jennifer Norling’s reaction was similarly intense. "There's humour, there's love, it's intense. It's pretty much everything a woman would want in her love life."
EL James revealed to her fans that her reaction to the 'Twilight' series was similar. “I don't think I've ever been swept up in something like I was swept up with that. I read them and reread them and reread them, and then I sat down and wrote a novel.”
Her first, unpublished novel is expected to be out soon, and in the meantime James has a message for people who love her stories. “If the book says anything, it's life's not a dress rehearsal. Just go and do stuff. I'm trying to embrace that."
