Arcade Fire are currently busy at work in the studio working on their new album, which will reportedly be released next year.
The band will put out their follow-up to The Suburbs in 2013, according to the band's Twitter newsfeed Arcade Fire Tube.
They tweeted: "BREAKING! New Arcade Fire album coming next year, Mercury Records has confirmed."
Arcade Fire released the song 'Abraham's Daughter' earlier this year as part of the Hunger Games movie soundtrack. 'Abraham's Daughter', which sounds like rhythmic chanting appropriate for the film's dystopian world, playedd during the closing credits.
Speaking about the track, band front man Win Butler told Entertainment Weekly: "Our whole approach was to get into the world and try to create something that serves the story and the film."
Explaining: "There's something in the story of Abraham and Isaac that I think resonates with the themes in the film, like sacrificing children. So we made a weird, alternate-universe version of that."
