While most Hollywood couple in the midst of a divorce are going at each other's throats, trying to tear strips off each other for the most amount of cash, it seems that Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise are quite different.
Tell us something new! Well, despite reports suggesting that along with primary custody of their six-year-old daughter Suri, it was alleged that Tom handed over $50 million as part of the deal but according to TMZ, this isn't true.
One source close the situation has reportedly told the website that this report is "ridiculous" and that Katie didn't take a huge chunk of Tom's cash at all.
Katie reportedly signed a pre-nup before the couple married which meant that she would receive a good sum of cash depending on how many years they were married.
But sources have insisted that the divorce was never about the money, and one insider added: "She has her own money."
But Tom is dishing out "a lot of money" in child support for Suri, and the 'Oblivion' actor will be doing this regularly for the next 12 years - some suggest that this could cost "more than $10 million" in child support.
That is one expensive child.
