Could the Geordie Shore be saying 'tara now' to Jay Gardner soon? It appears they will as the reality TV star has announced that he will be leaving the hit show.
Admitting that he now wants to spend more time with his girlfriend, MTV reports the star revealing that whilst he's had fun on the MTV show, he now wants to "concentrate" on his relationship with his girlfriend Chloe.
"I really enjoyed being part of the Geordie Shore family but now it's time for me to concentrate on my relationship. I have a serious girlfriend now and want to spend time with her", Jay said.
Jay, who is currently appearing on the show's series in Cancun, added that he won't be leaving the show quietly:
"I love watching the show, Cancun was amazing and I can promise you my good-bye is action packed and emotional. It will be a bit weird to watch Geordie Shore once I’ve left but I am very grateful for the opportunities the show has given me and I love all my fans."
Confirming the news on Twitter, Jay wrote: "Its true I'm leaving Geordie Shore this series. I've had a mint time and will miss everyone loads. Thanks to all my fans! #adiosjay", before hinting that he has his own show.
"However I'm excited about my new TV Show!! Stay Tuned........"
