Tulisa Contostavlos confirmed what a strong woman she is during her appearance at London's High Court this morning where she settled legal action against her ex-boyfriend Justin Edwards.
The singer and X Factor judge, who will celebrate her 24th birthday tomorrow, was at London's High Court to accept the "sincere apologies" from her former rap artist boyfriend.
Earlier this week Justin admitted publishing the infamous sex tape. Justin's barrister told the High Court at a hearing in London (July 9) that the rap artist was taking full responsibility for the tape which was leaked online earlier this year.
Debuting her new blonde locks today (July 12) outside court, Miss Contostavlos, read a statement thanking those in the public who has supported her through the rough past couple of months.
"Today the truth has prevailed. After months of lying to the public and lying in court, Justin has finally admitted to being guilty and I hope justice is served.''
She added: "I'm especially grateful for all the support I have received from the public, my friends, family and team. With that support and my determination I have won this battle. Justin messed with the wrong woman."
Adding that she was now looking forward to celebrating her birthday. "I just want to thank my fans for all their support - with that support I have won this case. This time, Justin messed with the wrong woman," she said.
"I'm just really happy that the truth is out. It's a fresh start for me today after this, and it's my birthday, and now, of course, I'm off to Ibiza."
