Glle actress Kristin Chenoweth was taken to hospital yesterday after becoming involved in an accident on the set of her new show The Good Wife.
It is thought that the star, who also plays 'April Rhodes' in Glee was injured by a piece of lighting equipment which resulted in her falling to the ground and hitting her head in the process, according to TMZ.
A CBS source revealed: "Kristin was struck by a piece of lighting equipment that collapsed because of a large gust of wind."
Recalling the events, a source added: "That area is a vortex for wind ... and a big gust of wind blew the lighting off the scaffolding", whilst another source claimed that the actress, who has also appeared in Glee, was "knocked out cold", before adding: "I thought she was dead at first."
Pictures of the star showed the star wearing a neck brace as she was put into a waiting ambulance to take her to a hospital.
Giving an update of how Kristin is doing, TMZ reports a New York Fire Department rep revealing that she is being treated for "minor injuries".
Wishing Kristin a speedy recovery, Jenna Ushkowitz, who plays Tina on Glee tweeted earlier: "Wishing my girl @KChenoweth a speedy recovery. Everyone send her good vibes and energy."
Jenna's Glee co-star Dot-Marie Jones, who plays Coach Beiste added: "KEEP @KChenoweth IN YOU PRAYERS! SHE WAS HURT TODAY WORKING ON A SHOW, NOT SURE OF ALL THE DETS! JUST LOVE HER!"
