We were shocked when we saw none other than Nick Jonas leaving Katie Holmes' apartment building in New York, with the musician looking pretty pleased with himself as he stepped out into the sun.
But the Jonas Brother isn't hooking up with the newly single actress, they just happen to be neighbours. The 33 year-old moved to the uber exclusive building in the Chelsea area of New York where Nick already lives two weeks ago when she filed for divorce from estranged husband Tom Cruise after five years of marriage.

According to Ryanseacrest.com the couple have leased separate apartments, though we are sure having the star on her doorstep could come in handy for baby-sitting six year old daughter Suri Cruise, who the Dawson's Creek star was awarded primary custody of in her divorce settlement with Tom that was finalised earlier this week. While she isn't dating Nick, we don't think that Katie will be single for too long. The actress left Suri at home as she stepped out for dinner with friends in New York last night.
The brunette looked sexy and stylish in a pair of figure hugging leather trousers and white blazer. Nick, who broke up with Delta Goodrem earlier this year is also single so maybe love will blossom between the pair!
