Adele's baby is going to get the first listen to her highly-anticipated third album because the 'Someone Like You' star has reportedly splashed out a whopping £35,000 on a new nursery that includes a state-of-the-art sound system.
While we were treated to 'Twinkle Twinkle' in our cribs, Adele's little tot with partner Simon Konecki is going to have the most valuable nursery rhymes around.
The 24-year-old is expecting her first child, and some rumours have suggested the baby could be due as early as September.
Adele is getting ready, and is clearly in the swing of the 'nesting' phase as she's dropped £35,000 on lighting and sound for the nursery as well as £5,000 on baby clothes and accessories.
"Adele might have a reputation for being a bit of a spendthrift but when it comes to her baby she's sparing no expense," a source told Reveal magazine. "She is building state-of-the-art nurseries in all her homes. She's having bespoke wallpaper made and it's costing a fortune with climate control and cameras so she can see everything on her laptop."
They also added: "She's spending $54,000 on the lighting and sound system alone."
Adele, who allegedly hid her pregnancy when attending the Ivor Novello awards in May, has already bought three pushchairs for her tot and a few bits from Tiffany's.
"She's pre-ordered Bon Point unisex baby clothes - and they don't come cheap. And she's already bought three Bugaboo pushchairs and a $900 Moses basket," the insider explained.
"Not to mention the small fortune she's spent in Tiffany's on picture frames and trinkets. She even bought an antique bear for $7,500."
