Representatives for Tom Cruise have denied a romance between the newly single star and his 'Oblivion' co-star Olga Kurylenko after on set sources reported that the couple had "great chemistry" together.
The star, who only split from wife of five years Katie Holmes 11 days ago (June 28) has been shooting the movie in Iceland and the Rocky Mountains in the US. The 49 year-old was in the middle of filming when his wife "blindsided" him by filing for divorce seemingly out of the blue.
On set sources claimed that the couple, who play lovers in the movie have "a great deal of chemistry" according to the New York Post with the pair allegedly caught holding hands and joking as they shot scenes for the movie in New York last month.
But representative for Tom have claimed any romance between the pair is "acting".
"They are shooting a movie and they are actors - their chemistry on set is them acting. It's their job," they insisted.
Olga, who appeared opposite Daniel Craig in James Bond movie 'Quantum of Solace' in 2008 was also quick to deny the rumours.
"Completely not true. She is dating Danny Huston. You are so going down the wrong path," her spokesperson told the New York Post.
While a romance this quickly would be a shock it seems Cruise likes to move quick.
His lawyers finalised a divorce settlement which awarded Katie Holmes with primary custody of daughter Suri only nine days after the Dawson's Creek star first initiated divorce proceedings.
