Stylish siblings Elle and Dakota Fanning have reportedly inspired Bill Gaytten’s latest resort collection for John Galliano.
The creative director of the label openly credited the fashionista actresses for influencing the designs of the 2013 Resort collection, and it has been noted by industry insiders that a ''pale and blonde model’’ who featured in the catwalk presentation looked the spitting image of the teenage sisters, according to WWD.
The famous sisters have been topping the best dressed lists ever since they shot to fame, gracing the front covers of fashion mags such as Cosmopolitan and blossoming into little style icons on the red carpet in their age appropriate outfits.
Gaytten’s take on the Galliano Resort fashion for 2013 is a contemporary mix of drop-waist dresses, vertical stripe separates and casual-cool shirt dresses, all conjured up with a neutral palette of cream, white and black.
And whilst some fashion commentators seem baffled by the designer’s inspiration in the girls, it has been noted that the garms are a perfect fit for the fresh, hip image of the two super cool Hollywood starlets.
