Former X Factor finalist Katie Waissel is set to become a Mrs, following the news that she is engaged to her hot model boyfriend Brad Alphonso.
The star, who made it to the X Factor live finals in 2010 decided to announce her good news on Twitter by posting a series of tweets and pictures of herself and her soon to be husband.
In one picture posted by the star, who caused controversy on the show when it was revealed that her grandmother was a prostitute, can be seen locking lips with Brad whilst they hold up their hands to reveal tattoos of a heart on their ring fingers.
Another image shows Katie getting the heart etched on her finger.
US model Brad also took to the social networking site to tweet about his engagement to Katie. He tweeted: "@katiewaissel24 Holy s**t!!!!! It's for real !!! Love it!!!!"
Before adding: "The best & only engagement dinner I will ever have with friends & my future mrs. Alphonso @katiewaissel24 .. #loveher."
Following the announcement of her engagement, Katie tweeted her appreciation earlier today, writing: "Thanks everyone for all ur wonderful messages!me and @Brad_Alphonso r just so excited!will keep u posted ;) right now back to making music!"
