Adele has reportedly recorded a collection of nursery rhymes for her unborn child. Hang on, we thought she was taking a break from music for 5 years?!
The 'Someone Like You' hitmaker, who announced that she was pregnant last week with boyfriend Simon Konecki’s child, is claimed to have recorded a CD of children’s songs, according to The Sun.
A source told the newspaper: “She has been playing the rhymes to her belly.
"It's so Adele can get her voice as close as possible to the baby so it can hear as many soothing sounds as possible."
And the publication also claimed that Adele has taken up the hobby in preparation for motherhood. The source added: "She's become a bit obsessed with board games. Jenga, Monopoly and Scrabble are her favourites."
The 24-year-old songstress revealed the amazing news on her blog last week, writing: "I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me.
"Obviously, we're over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx."
We bet there's a few baby hits worth releasing on there. We want to hear!
