Lana Del Rey may have impressed fans during her Independence Day concert yesterday (July 4), however it seems that not all were happy with the 45 minute set, as it's emerged that fans have been left frustrated due to the short set and no encore.
Ohhh dear. Gig go-ers had paid $80 for a ticket to the evening gig and fans definitely thought 45 minutes was too short a set for the money that they had paid, especially considering the lack of encore.
One fan, Dany Faigaux said, "It was very good, but 45 minutes is a little light. She didn't even introduce the musicians", reported Reuters.
Before playing her final song, Del Rey had told the crowd, "I hope you liked it, we're happy to be here on the 4th of July", before abruptly adding, "ok guys, we'll see you".
Another fan who had travelled all the way from Britain added, "It was a bit short, I would have listened longer. The supporting act was too long", though nevertheless added, "She was amazing, mesmerizing".
It's been a phenomenal year for Del Rey, who tasted success in both the U.S and in Europe. Her record 'Born to Die' is the third biggest seller of 2012 in the UK, behind Adele's '21' and Emeli Sande's 'Our Version of Events'.
She was also named as the International Breakthrough Act at the Brit Awards in February.
