Kim Kardashian attempted to channel Parisian model chic yesterday when she stepped out to a private show hosted by Givenchy for Paris Couture Week with new man Kanye West.
The realty TV star looked a little out of her depth as she accentuated her curves in a rather unflattering pair of high-waisted shiny black chinos teamed with a zip up black and white printed crop top, appearing to be going for the androgynous look. It was made for boy-figures, Kim - embrace your womanly curves!
And although the ‘paper bag’ trousers highlighted the star’s flat stomach, they didn’t do much for the rest of her voluptuous figure as she got lost in the shapeless loose fitted chino style.
She teamed her new look with Christian Louboutin Perspex heels and wore her hair slicked back into an androgynous wet-look style, which has been ubiquitous on the 2012 catwalks thus far.
Kanye also looked suitably dashing, although devoid of all colour in an all-black suit teamed with a plain black t-shirt. How exciting…
And we can certainly see Kim’s once playful style drowning under Kanye’s watchful eye as her new beau seems to be taking over her wardrobe with neutral colours and minimal styles. And manly looks, apparently.
