We caught up with Wiz Khalifa to get the low down about what went on during the filming of the new stoner comedy he’s set to star in with Snoop Dogg.
The 24-year-old rapper talked us through how it was to work on camera with an icon like Snoop Dogg, and what it was like to film ‘Mac and Devin go to High School’, which of course, is about two hapless stoners.
Wiz revealed that the experience of working with Snoop Dog was ‘awesome’ and on the subject of the rapper, he said: “Snoop’s the greatest. He made me feel so comfortable on set. Just being myself, and bringing me to the camera.
“We became really really good friends.”
He added: “I feel like he’s my older brother.”
The film appears to have been hard work for the rappers though, as Wiz told us it is hard work playing a stoner on camera.
Wiz said:“We did a smoke and mirrors part of the movie, and we just had to smoke out of all these things.
“We fell asleep on set!”
He then joked: “We were doing our own stunts.”
The film was made available in the States yesterday on DVD and Blu-ray.
