The daughter of Rolling Stone Mick Jagger and supermodel Jerry Hall, Georgia May Jagger, is the new face of Madonna and daughter Lourdes’ Material Girl juniors line.
And Madge’s choice isn't exactly a shocker when you look at Georgia’s trademark gap tooth.
The young model will follow Kelly Osbourne as brand ambassador for Material Girl, which is available exclusively at Macy’s. The ad campaign also conveniently ties into Madonna’s MDNA tour. Quite the shrewd business woman, aren’t we?
The fall advertisements feature rocker chick Georgia May Jagger as the ultimate VIP guest at the tour as she poses both on and off stage during the Madonna concert.
The scenes were apparently shot during an actual MDNA rehearsal in May at the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island – where Madonna prepared for the gruelling tour which kicked off in Tel Aviv on May 31.
Madonna said of model Georgia: “We think Georgia May has great style and perfectly captures the Material Girl fall line,” according to WWD.
The fashion campaign will break will the August issues of all the style glossies including Seventeen, Teen Vogue, People StyleWatch and Cosmopolitan, as well as online, outdoor and in collateral marketing materials.
Georgia is also said to make personal appearances at Macy’s stores on behalf of Material Girl, which is a venture between Madonna and Iconix Brand Group.
Dari Marder, chief marketing officer at Iconix, also commented on Georgia, saying: “Georgia is a natural beauty with rock ’n’ roll in her genes. She could not be a more natural fit for Material Girl.’’
Looks like she’s landed herself a whopping good job there…
