Jena Malone is the latest Hollywood star to be added to the cast for the next 'Hunger Games' movie, 'Catching Fire' as snide tribute Johanna Mason, according to reports.
The 'Sucker Punch' actress will be playing the key role that will also feature in the third instalment of 'The Hunger Games Trilogy', Mockingjay.
According to Hollywood Reporter, Malone has been offered the role but is still in the early stages of negotiations.
It was originally reported that upcoming actress-model Zoe Aggeliki was the favourite to play the role of the ax-wielding former Hunger Games champion from District 7, who teams with Jennifer Lawrence's character Katniss Everdeen and Josh Hutcherson's Peeta Mellark when they return for an all-star death match.
Like Jennifer Lawrence', the role of Johanna Mason will require some serious work at the gym especially as she'll be stripping out of her tribute costume in a bid to make Katniss uncomfortable.
As previously reported, 'Catching Fire' is due to start filming, with director Francis Lawrence, in September.
